Aston Villa could take Middlesbrough coach Steve Agnew to Villa Park to link up with the expected arrival of Steve Bruce as manager according to a report.
The Telegraph say that Villa have spoken to Bruce about his backroom staff with Steve Clarke expected to stay on and Steve Agnew said to be considered as an addition that could be made to the coaching team.
Agnew spent two years with Bruce at Hull City between 2012 and 2014 before returning to Middlesbrough where he had originally left to move to the Tigers.

The 50 year old is currently assistant head coach to Aitor Karanka at the Riverside but could well leave that role to link up with Bruce once again.
It’s been said that Bruce has also been discussing the January transfer kitty as the Villans look to seal and immediate return back to the top flight.
Bruce is expected to be appointed in time to face Wolverhampton Wanderers next weekend.
