Aston Villa will look to take Stephen Clemence from Hull City to help make up new manager Steve Bruce’s backroom staff.
The Hull Daily Mail and Ian Abrahams from TalkSport both claim that the current first team coach at the Tigers is set to be assistant manager at Villa Park.

The Mail further Abrahams comments by saying the Villans spoke with Hull yesterday about acquiring Clemence’s services with a compensation package on offer.
Clemence has worked with Bruce twice at Hull and at Sunderland and could well link up with him again at the Championship outfit.
Bruce was appointed yesterday as Aston Villa manager and will be tasked with securing an immediate return to the Premier League by owner Dr Tony Xia.
They won once in their opening eleven games under Roberto Di Matteo before he was fired as manager.
Bruce’s first game as boss will be a local derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday evening at Villa Park.
