Steve Bruce has officially been unveiled at a press conference with the media this evening.
He talked well and with a seeming pride about managing the most successful side in the West Midlands.
It is yet to be confirmed on how long Bruce’s contract will be but it is clear the mission is to get promoted back to the Premier League as soon as possible.
The former Birmingham City manager touched on his old nicknames in the past talking about Villa fans taunting him with ‘Mr Potatohead’ and ‘Fathead’ as he talked about how it doesn’t really bother him claiming that it was a compliment.
I hope I can bring success here
Bruce will debut on the touchline this weekend against Wolverhampton Wanderers and spoke about how the club had a ‘fantastically loyal support’ and that he would be trying his ‘utmost’ to get the Midlands side back to the destine land.
It’s one of the great clubs of our country with great tradition and a huge passionate support that would attract many managers.
