Aston Villa have moved quickly to build up Steve Bruce’s backroom team at Villa Park with Stephen Clemence added to the ranks.
The coach has worked with Steve Bruce twice before at Hull City and Sunderland and will be first team coach at the Midlands side.
Bruce was appointed boss at the Villans on Wednesday after Roberto Di Matteo was sacked as Aston Villa manager after one win in their opening eleven games.

It was reported earlier on today how Ian Abrahams claimed that Clemence was close to being confirmed as a coach and was pictured taking training today at Bodymoor Heath.
Steve Bruce is expected to speak to the media later today about being appointed Villa boss. We will bring you all the news as we get it from the press conference come five.
They take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday in a 5:30 kick off live on Sky Sports 1 and tickets are still available to buy.
