New technical director Steve Round is currently overhauling the Villa scouting set up with changes coming since Paddy Riley was sacked as Head of Recruitment at Villa Park.
It’s not clear who the club were scouting if anyone but it is still interesting to see that they were out at a Champions League game on Tuesday.
They also recently appointed Everton head scout Ian Atkins as their new Head of European Recruitment and Chief Scout at the start of the month as they look to move their infrastructure in scouting forwards.
