Reported Aston Villa target Daryl Horgan has revealed his thoughts on links suggesting he is set to leave Dundalk in the Irish Premier League for the Championship in January.
As reported by the Birmingham Mail the winger spoke about how he’d have to ‘consider’ a move away from Dundalk if an offer came in whilst also mentioning Newcastle United as a ‘massive club.’
Hogan has been a huge part of Dundalk’s magical journey in the Europa League that is showing no signs of slowing down.

The Irish Independent reported earlier on in the week how Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Preston North End scouts had been keeping a keen eye on Hogan and either could be set to launch a move.
I’m very happy at Dundalk, but as I said, if an offer does come in from somewhere, I’d have to consider it, especially something like a massive club like Newcastle.
The 24-year-old is currently on international duty for the first time with the Republic of Ireland and could well make his debut in the country’s trip to face Austria on Saturday evening.
