Villa welcome Burton Albion on Monday, aiming to end a miserable 11 year winless streak on Boxing day in front of a capacity crowd for the first time this season.
Steve Bruce’s side come into the game off the back of Villa’s second away win of the season against QPR, after Jonathon Kodja’s goal secured all three points at Loftus Road last weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, Bruce admitted he is considering making changes as his side begin a gruelling run of fixtures which could define Villa’s season.
Do you change it around and put some freshness in? With the squad I have got, we have equal in depth on the bench as on the pitch. There’s not a standout 11, I have a group of players.
I made six changes for the QPR game and we won a match. I could quite easily make another six changes for Monday’s match.
Monday’s visitors, Burton Albion, are enjoying their first ever season in the second tier of English football and currently sit 21st in the table under the guidance of Nigel Clough.
The Brewers come into the game having lost their last three games, meaning they sit only two points above Blackburn Rovers who currently reside in 22nd place.
Former Villa academy trainee Jamie Ward, now plying his trade for the Brewers, has revealed he is looking forward to his return to Villa Park.
It will be nice to play there as I have never played in a competitive fixture there before, my family will enjoy the game too but the most important thing is that I do my all for Burton to win. Once you get out there, you focus on doing your all to win and not the occasion as such.
If Villa were to end their miserable Boxing day run, Villa could propel themselves up to eighth in the table and right into the chase for the play-off places.
