Aston Villa are one of five clubs, along with Brighton, Newcastle, Swansea and West Brom, who have expressed interest in signing Liverpool midfielder Kevin Stewart, according to a report from James Pearce of the Liverpool Echo.
Despite Liverpool receiving these enquiries about the availability of the 23-year-old, it looks like he won’t be going anywhere this summer.
Despite hardly featuring in the league this season, Stewart is seen as a good squad plauer by Jurgen Klopp and he has played the former Tottenham star in the League Cup and will probably select him in the FA Cup too.

Liverpool apparently value Stewart between £10m and £12m and could sell him in the summer if Klopp can make further additions to his squad, but it’s unlikely that Villa or any other club for that matter, will be able to secure a deal in January.
It remains to be seen if Steve Bruce will follow up his apparent interest in the midfielder in the summer.
