Aston Villa fans will be hoping to see far more progress next season than they have this term, with their side currently sitting in 15th place.
It’s been a turbulent campaign to say the very least at Villa Park. Dr Tony Xia bought the club and kicked off his ownership by appointing Roberto Di Matteo, who was followed by a plethora of new signings.
However things weren’t going to plan, and Steve Bruce was appointed as the new boss. Although Villa look a bit better, there are still clear signs to be worried about in the performances and the position on the league table at the moment is underwhelming to say the least, but definitely deserved.
So, it’s clear to see that next season despite the overhaul of players we’ve seen at Villa Park, some fresh blood could be necessary.
