It’s been an underwhelming season for Aston Villa to say the very least so far.
They’re currently sat in 12th place on the Championship table in their first season in the second tier of English football since the relegation from the Premier League last season, and it’s been a turbulent time for the club and its fans, especially.
There was an overhaul of signings in the summer transfer window under Roberto Di Matteo and after the arrival of Steve Bruce at the helm of the club, the changes were of the essence once again in the January transfer window.
