Averaging a goal every other game this season for Aston Villa, it’s understandable that Premier League clubs will be queuing up for Jonathan Kodjia in the summer.
According to the Mirror (h/t HITC), both Stoke and Everton are interested in signing Kodjia in the summer, reigniting their interest from a year ago.
Kodjia burst onto the scene in English football last season following a £2.5m move from Angers to Bristol City where he went on to score 19 goals in 52 appearances across all competitions, earning himself a £11m transfer to Villa back in August.
The Ivory Coast international cemented himself as the club’s No.1 striker early in the season and hasn’t disappointed, netting 18 goals in 36 Championship games, including seven in the last seven games.
Both Everton and Stoke are keen to add to their attacking ranks in the summer and a move for Kodjia is attractive for both but the 27-year-old surely won’t come cheap off the back of another terrific season and just one year removed from joining Villa.
