Aston Villa are reportedly one of several teams keen to sign Michael Hefele from Huddersfield Town this summer.
According to a report from the Daily Mail today, the defender could be set for an exit from the Terriers this summer despite their promotion, and a host of clubs are circling.
Hefele was impressive under David Wagner’s Huddersfield side and is sure to relish the prospect of regular first-team football in the Premier League, but the lure of a club such as Villa could prove to be too good to reject.

However, it’s stated that Huddersfield are keen to pull out all the stops to keep hold of the 26-year-old and will offer him a new deal.
The central defender has become a fans’ favourite at Huddersfield since his move from Dynamo Dresden, and it’s looking like Wagner wants to keep his compatriot at the club.
Norwich City and Derby County are also being linked.
