Aston Villa left-back Jordan Amavi looks to have seen his proposed move to Sevilla fall through.
According to a report from Spanish news outlet Estadio Deportivo, the Frenchman failed his medical with the La Liga side, and will therefore not complete his switch.
Amavi has been seeking a route out of Villa Park this summer and it looks as though a move is indeed on the cards this summer – providing he can prove himself to be fit enough.

The defender suffered an excruciating injury a couple of seasons back, rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament and subsequently hindering his progression.
Although it looks as though Amavi has shaken off his injury troubles from the blow to his knee, medical examinations appear to tell a different story, and this setback may make it ever harder for the promising defender to secure a summer move.
Amavi made 26 starts in the Championship last season.
