According to Birmingham Mail, Aston Villa are angered over Sevilla’s second loan bid for Jordan Amavi despite failing a medical the first time of asking.
Aston Villa owner Dr Tony Xia thinks that Amavi is in good condition and believes someone was out to sabotage his move from Villa to Sevilla. Amavi was set to join the Spanish side in deal worth around £8 million.
He said “Jordan Amavi’s medical report was good. Someone hi-level didn’t agree with the transfer and found a reason of injury history which is really unfair to Jordan Amavi.
“[It’s] very low. I have to say, from a businessman’s viewpoint. Credibility and integrity is something very basic.”

Amavi has been listed up for transfer as Steve Bruce wants to free up funds for new signings at Villa Park as they try and get back to the Premier League at the second time of asking.
The French left-back joined Villa at the beginning of the 2015/16 season from Nice but endured relegated in a frustrating debut season for Aston Villa which was cut short by an ACL tear in November whilst playing for the France U21 squad.
In December last year, it was reported that Villa turned down a £25 million bid for the Frenchman from an unnamed club in China. It was also reported in France that Marseille bid for Amavi’s services.
