According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds United are set to offer Aston Villa £7 million for striker Ross McCormack and defender Tommy Elphick.
Whites boss Thomas Christiansen is desperate to add more firepower up front this month, and is willing to bring Leeds favourite McCormack back to Elland Road, where he enjoyed four free scoring seasons.
McCormack, 31, is due to return to Aston Villa this week from a loan spell in Australia with Melbourne City, where he impressed, finding the back of the net 14 times in 16 appearances.
Elphick, 30, joined Villa from Premier League side Bournemouth back in 2016, however, despite being a regular last season, has seen his first team opportunities limited this year after the summer arrival of John Terry.
It is believed that Villa value McCormack at £4.5 million and Elphick at £2.5 million, and wont settle for anything less for the pair.
