According to Express and Star, Aston Villa will assess Jack Grealish’s fitness ahead of their game against Preston tomorrow.
Villa manager, Steve Bruce believes Grealish could be available for the clash tomorrow, despite the midfielder missing out on his side’s 2-0 defeat to Fulham on Saturday.
Bruce will be hoping that Grealish passes his fitness test as Albert Adomah and Andre Green are both out with injuries, which leaves the Villa boss with limited options on the flanks.
Despite only coming back from kidney problems in November, Grealish has been one of Villa’s best performers as they push on for the second automatic promotion spot behind Wolves have all but claimed the Championship title for this season.
Villa currently sit in third, only two points behind Cardiff in second, so if Grealish is back for Preston, he could help the Villains overtake Cardiff, who themselves face Ipswich on Wednesday.
