Jack Grealish wishes to stay at Villa in the summer

According to Birmingham Mail, Jack Grealish wants to stay at Aston Villa, no matter what division the club will find itself in next season.

Grealish has been one of the best players in this Villa side and has helped them challenge for promotion back to the Premier League, after their relegation in 2016.

The boyhood Aston Villa fan has been heavily linked with a £20m move to Leicester City, who won the league the season where Villa were relegated, but Steve Bruce has come out and suggested that Grealish should be staying at Villa Park for the near future.

Bruce had this to say when speaking to the media before his sides victory against Ipswich

I saw Leicester for £20m. That money now gets you a Harry Maguire, who played 30 times for Hull, Sam Clucas was £20m. No disrespect to them – I have had them – but how you can have Jack at that price?

Jordan Henderson was £19m when I sold him to Liverpool from Sunderland eight years ago. I am going to have it all summer, I would think. I am delighted Jack is getting recognition for what he is doing on the pitch.

But I think I can safely say £20m would not buy his right leg at the moment, that is for sure.

Many doubt that Grealish would leave Villa anyway, as he is a boyhood fan and he is in the form of his life under Steve Bruce right now so ruining that could ruin his bright career which is ahead of him.
