Aston Villa have been handed a big injury boost ahead of their clash with Derby County this weekend as John Terry has returned to full fitness.
The experienced defender has been sidelined with an injury in recent weeks but it seems he will make his return to the first-team for their important encounter with the Rams.
Terry, who is now 37-years-old has been out of action since Villa’s disappointing 3-1 defeat against Norwich City at Carrow Road. In this loss, the former Chelsea stalwart sustained a minor ankle injury but is understood by the Express and Star to have put his fitness struggles behind him.

The central defender may have been ready to face Ipswich last weekend but the match came just too soon for Terry, who had only recently made his return to first-team training.
Villa had no trouble in Terry’s absence, beating Ipswich 4-0. The defender will hope he can add to his side’s dominance when they face Derby in the coming days.
