Aston Villa have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Tobias Pachonik on a free transfer this summer.
According to an exclusive report from Turkish-Football, Steve Bruce’s side have emerged as a potential destination for the full-back, who will be available for no cost following the expected expiration of his contract at Carpi FC next month.
A host of clubs are understood to be considering a swoop to land Pachonik this summer, including Southampton. Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt are also named as a potential destination for the player, whilst Italian giants Fiorentina have also been linked.

Pachonik is stated to have enjoyed a good season in the second tier of Italian football last term. He was named in the Serie B Team of the Season following his exploits throughout the campaign.
Aston Villa may need to balance the books ahead of next season and the addition of Pachonik for free could well be an option that they pursue this summer.
