Bristol City are monitoring the situation over the future of Aston Villa winger Albert Adomah, according to Bristol Live.
The Ghana international, who previously played for the Robins between 2010 and 2013, is wanted by his former club, and Villa may be xforced into selling him due to their current financial crisis.
Middlesbrough, a club Adomah also played for between 2013 and 2016, are the current favourites to land the 30-year old, which could make things difficult for City.

With Villa’s financial problems available for all to see and an end not in sight, a number of other clubs may be alerted to Adomah’s availability.
It is understood that Adomah is willing to remain with the Villans, but if the club do need the money then the club’s hierarchy may decide to move him on.
With two years remaining on his current deal at Villa Park, Adomah is expected to demand a fee, especially with Villa refusing to be held to ransom.
Jack Grealish has also been heavily linked with a big money move away from the club.
