Aston Villa are battling with rivals Birmingham City to sign Liverpool winger Sheyi Ojo on a season-long loan deal, according to a report on the Birmingham Mail.
The youngster has found it difficult to break into the Liverpool first team squad and Jurgen Klopp believes he still needs time before he can be integrated into the squad.
Ojo was on loan at Fulham last season and scored four goals to help the London club secure promotion to the Premier League.
The rapid winger has had his fair share of injury problems in recent times and he was forced to miss almost four months last season with a shoulder and leg injury.
Villa missed out on promotion by losing to Fulham in the Play-off final but will be hoping to push for promotion again next season.
Ojo is also wanted by Stoke City and Derby County so he will need to make an important decision in the next few weeks.
