Aston Villa have reportedly made an eleventh-hour bid to sign Liverpool youngster Harry Wilson on loan according to ESPN.
The Liverpool youngster was left out of the squad for today’s friendly with Bury as he is close to a loan switch away from Anfield.
Derby, Stoke and Swansea are all reportedly potential destinations for Wilson, but Aston Villa are reportedly also interested in signing Wilson on loan.

Wilson is set to return to the Championship after a successful loan spell at Hull City last season. Wilson was a vital part of the Hull side that narrowly avoided relegation to League 1 after the sacking of Leonid Slutsky.
Wilson is set to join one of Stoke, Swansea or Derby, but Aston Villa are making a last ditch attempt to get the player to join Steve Bruce’s side.
Liverpool feel that the player can develop with another season in the Championship, but have narrowed the search down to three teams, all with a good chance of promotion.
