Tottenham Hotspur are ready to step up their efforts to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, according to the Mirror, and are keen to have the player available for their pre-season tour of the United States.
Grealish has been heavily linked with a move to Spurs in recent weeks and it seems as though Mauricio Pochettino’s men are leading the race to sign the England Under-21 international.
Villa are looking to sell Grealish to aid them as they come under pressure regarding the regulations of Financial Fair Play.

The Mirror’s report indicates that Spurs boss Pochettino wants to have Grealish available for his side’s pre-season tour of the United States, with the squad jetting off on Sunday.
This infers that Tottenham will step up their pursuit of Grealish, who is believed to be keen on a move to North London this summer.
It’s also claimed in the report that Villa are likely to settle for a fee that is substantially lower than their previous demand of £40 million, with Steve Bruce’s side now set to ‘settle for about half that amount’.
