Tottenham are preparing a £20m offer for Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.
The young starlet is determined to make the move to Spurs, according to The Times. However, both clubs are still some way-apart for the valuation of the midfielder.
Spurs have not been linked with a player in the lower divisions since signing Dele Ali from MK Dons back in 2015. Some claim Tottenham may be desperate for a summer arrival but is clear Grealish fits the profile to play under, and be developed by Pochettinho.
Even though Grealish was not able to seal promotion at Villa Park, he proved to be one of the standout performers last season – possessing one of the best pass completion rates of 83.7 per cent in the opposition half, and capping off the remainder of the season with three goals and six assists.
Spurs will continue their advanced talks to bring in the 22-year-old as their first summer signing.
