Reports from Italy suggest that Aston Villa have made an offer for Barcelona outcast Yerry Mina.
The defender, who has been linked with high profile moves to Everton, Lyon and Manchester United, is reportedly the subject of a bid from Villa.
Signing the defender would be a coup for the Villans, who just a month ago were in big financial trouble.
TuttoMercatoWeb suggest Villa have made an offer of €10 million for the Colombian, plus bonuses.

However, with suggestions that Barcelona are seeking over €40 million for the defender, Villa’s offer is very wide of the mark.
Villa are looking to strengthen their squad after new ownership was brought in to save the club from financial ruin.
A deal for the Colombian is reportedly being financed by the new ownership at the club, with Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris buying a majority share in the club recently.
However, with top European sides interested in Mina, a move to Aston Villa seems very unlikely.
