Fellow Championship side Nottingham Forest are set to rival Aston Villa in their attempts to sign highly rated forward Tammy Abraham on loan from Chelsea, Hull Live report.
Forest boss Aitor Karanka is desperate to add to his attacking options before the loan window slam shuts at the end of the month, with Nelson Oliveira, Rudy Gestede and Jermain Defoe all rumoured targets for a move to the City Ground.
However, Karanka is thought to be a real admirer of Abraham, despite Villa understood to be leading the race for the England under-21 international’s services for the season.

Villa boss Steve Bruce has publicly admitted his interest in the striker, who enjoyed a successful Championship season with Bristol City during the 2016-17 campaign, scoring 23 times in 41 league appearances.
If he does become available then there’s a definite interest from us, of course there is. But I haven’t had any conversation with Chelsea.
If he was available then I think half the Championship would love to take somebody like Tammy Abraham let’s be honest. I don’t think we’re alone.
The 20-year-old, who excelled in his only campaign in the Championship, spent the whole of last season with Swansea City in the Premier League, with the striker scoring five times in 31 games.
