Aston Villa outcast Ross McCormack has returned to Australia on loan, this time joining the Central Coast Mariners for the remainder of the season.
McCormack hasn’t played for Villa in over a year and has spent time away from the club after a fallout with Steve Bruce back in 2016.
The Scot joined Villa in a big money move from Fulham in the Summer of 2015, as Roberto Di Matteo attempted to get Villa back to the big time.

However, after only 3 goals in 20 appearances, and with the former Leeds man failing to turn up to training, he was sent out on loan to Nottingham Forest, where he netted once against Norwich.
Last season he spent time out in Australia with Melbourne City, where McCormack was on top goalscoring form. The striker netted 13 times in 15 appearances for the A-League side, something that his new team, the Central Coast Mariners, will be hoping he can reproduce.
McCormack will have some notable company at the New South Wales club, with Usain Bolt currently at the side.
