Aston Villa are reportedly preparing a deal to sign Nottingham Forest loanee Saidy Janko.
According to reports from Football Insider, Dean Smith’s side are already pressing ahead with a move to sign him when his spell on loan at Forest comes to an end.
The former Manchester United defender joined Forest on loan from Porto late in the summer window and has impressed since making the move to the Championship side.
It is believed that the Portuguese side could demand upwards of £2 million for his services, with interest mounting.

Wolves and Fulham are also being credited with an interest, but Villa will be hoping that the lure of regular first-team football will give them an advantage in the race to sign him.
Fulham have reportedly been long-term admirers of the player, but Villa are also keen to strengthen at the back.
After coming through the ranks at United, Janko has had spells at Bolton, Celtic, Barnsley, Saint-Etienne and Porto before arriving at Forest.
