Italian giants Milan will reportedly rival Aston Villa in their pursuit of free agent Robert Huth.
In shock claims emerging in Italy, as cited on HITC, Huth is believed to be a potential target for Gennaro Gattuso’s men ahead of the January transfer window.
The Serie A side are searching far and wide for a quick fix at the back amid a potential defensive crisis.

Milan lost both Mattia Caldara and Mateo Musacchio to lengthy injuries, while there are also concerns over club captain Alessio Romagnoli’s fitness.
Huth is a free agent after leaving Leicester in the summer and was heavily linked with Villa during Steve Bruce’s time at the club.
These reports are not the first transfer links between Milan and Villa in a surprising turn of events.
Both are said to be interested in the out-of-favour Chelsea defender Gary Cahill, who looks set to leave Stamford Bridge in January.
