Aston Villa boss Dean Smith is still backing striker Jonathan Kodija to shine despite struggling to find the back of the net in recent times, HITC reports.
Despite starting the season in fine form with four goals in 12 games, Kodija is now six games without a goal.
The striker is yet to score under new Villa boss Smith who took over from Steve Bruce last month.
Despite this, the 29-year-old is still receiving the backing of his new boss who believes it is only a matter of time until the Ivorian finds his goal scoring form once more.

Villa take on Birmingham City in a huge Midlands derby this weekend, perfect opportunity for Kodija to get his name back on the score sheet.
Smith has spoken about Kodija ahead of the fixture:
I have always said if you have forward thinking players and they are not getting chances, that is when you need to worry.
We have players who will score. Kodjia has scored a lot of goals in this league before, for Bristol City and Villa. He will continue to score. The hardest part is getting those chances.
They (the goals) will certainly come. Tammy missed a lot of chances on Saturday and over the last four games but he got his goal, which he deserved.
