According to reports, Sheffield United are likely to drop their interest in Villa’s Scott Hogan until the next Summer Transfer window.
The Sheffield Star report that Chris Wilder has decided to defer his interest in the Irish striker until next season, after a failed pursuit for the former Brentford man last Summer.
The Blades have had a strong start to the season, and remain firmly in the promotion hunt.

However, Chris Wilder is seeking a striker and an attacking midfielder this January according to the report. United discovered however that Villa will not sell Hogan to any club they view as promotion candidates, with Dean Smith’s side looking to return to the top flight.
Hogan has found his opportunities limited at Villa Park this season, especially after the arrival of Tammy Abraham.
The former Brentford striker criticised former boss Steve Bruce for stopping a move to Bramall Lane in the Summer, accusing Bruce of misrepresenting his situation in the West Midlands.
The Blades now may be forced to look to the loan market to get their attacking reinforcements in this January.
