Aston Villa’s Mile Jedinak has been linked with a return to Australia, with the midfielder’s contract set to expire at the end of the season.
According to Reports Down Under potential Australian A-League team Macarthur-South West Sydney have entered negotiations with the midfielder to potentially sign him as their inaugural captain.
Jedinak has been a crucial part of the Villa midfield since joining from Crystal Palace for £6 million back in 2016.

The Australian could leave Villa in January, with higher-ups at the club waiting on a decision by the league as to whether or not they will be granted a Licence.
The midfielder has struggled for first team football so far this season at Villa, and does not seemingly fit in Dean Smith’s plans.
The 34-year-old has close ties with Macarthur-South West Sydney, with former president of Sydney United, Sam Krslovic, among its directors. Jedinak made over 80 appearances for United, before moving to the A-League.
