Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn says he has no regrets over signing for the Midlands club over Celtic.
The 24-year-old penned a four-year deal at Villa Park in the summer, joining from Hibernian.
He had been tipped to make a switch to boyhood club Celtic instead, but the lure of Villa proved to be too much.
Speaking to talkSPORT, McGinn says he thinks he made the correct decision:

I loved Celtic all my life but it wasn’t to be.
There was a lot of complications (with the Celtic approach). At the end of the day, Aston Villa just felt right and I’m delighted I made this choice.
No (I don’t regret missing Celtic switch). You cannot look back and think what if. I’m playing for Aston Villa, it’s a massive club and I’ve got great coaches round me.
McGinn has been a roaring success at Villa this season, proving to be a key man and scoring twice in 14 appearances.

One of those goals was an outrageous strike against Sheffield Wednesday – a definite contender for Championship Goal of the Season.
He has 13 caps for Scotland and was named Man of the Match on his debut against Denmark in 2016.
