Aston Villa have the option of recalling Jed Steer in January, according to the Birmingham Mail.
The goalkeeper is currently on loan at Charlton, making 14 appearances for the League One club this season.
Steer played once for Villa at the beginning of the campaign, before being moved on to the Valley.
The 26-year-old could be set for a recall by Villa, however, with the report stating that there are “doubts surrounding the form of Orjan Nyland” between the sticks.
Villa have a two-week window in which they can bring back Steer, with goalkeeping coach Andy Marshall confirming the news:

They have a two-week window in January to recall Jed.
At the moment, we are not 100 per cent sure what is going to happen. We are in communication with Aston Villa, we’re fortunate that myself and the team know Villa’s team.
Whatever happens, could be dictated by the finances and the Fair Play. We’re not sure on where that stands, it’s really none of our business.
Villa drew 2-2 away to West Brom on Friday night in controversial circumstances, with Dean Smith’s side robbed in the dying seconds.
Jay Rodriguez equalised in stoppage time but the ball had clearly been helped in with his hand, much to Villa’s anger.
