Villa boss Dean Smith could be looking to reunite with former Walsall player Rico Henry this January, according to the Express and Star.
Smith is ready to make several additions to his squad this January, his first window in charge of Villa.
The former Brentford bosses’ side are six games unbeaten, but Smith is still looking add to his squad.
Smith’s priorities include a goalkeeper, a centre-half and a left back, which could open the door for a move for Brentford’s Rico Henry.

Henry played at Brentford and Walsall with Smith, and could follow Smith again to Villa.
The defender’s time at Brentford has been blighted by injuries, but the defender has returned to the side recently, as the Bees look to progress without Dean Smith.
Villa have also been linked with former Walsall player Romaine Sawyers, who again followed Smith from Walsall to the Bees.
However, any deal is unlikely, due to Villa having more pressing needs in other areas such as the defence.
