Aston Villa target James Collins reportedly tore up a £50,000 contract with the Villans after picking up an injury less than an hour after signing it.
According to the Mirror, Collins literally tore up the contract after picking up a calf injury after signing the deal with Villa.

The Welshman had been training with Villa for a while in an attempt to find a new club after leaving West Ham last Summer.
Collins had been training under Steve Bruce, but new boss Dean Smith kept the defender on.
Smith had offered Collins a deal that would pay him £10,000-a-week until the end of January, with Villa needing depth in defence.
The player then signed it, but returned less than an hour later and ripped up the deal.
However, Villa are reportedly impressed with Collins not wanting to be paid whilst injured, and could offer him another deal when he returns to fitness.
