Aston Villa are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Charlie Colkett on a 12-month loan deal, according to the Mirror.
The 22-year-old is also wanted by Swedish side Ostersunds, with a “tug-of-war” set to take place between the two clubs.
Colkett is yet to make an appearance for Chelsea, often being loaned out, as is the case with so many emerging talents at Stamford Bridge.
His temporary spell at Shrewsbury Town was cut short last month, having initially intended to be there for the entirety of the 2018/19 season.

Now available again, Dean Smith is believed to be keen on snapping up the midfielder.
The lure of regular football is sure to appeal to Colkett, who doesn’t look likely to ever make the grade at Chelsea.
Villa are reportedly interested in making a loan deal permanent eventually, should the former England U20 international shine.
It has already been a productive January at Villa Park, with Kortney Hause and Lovre Kalinic brought in.
