Aston Villa will have the option to sign Tyrone Mings on a permanent basis this summer.
According to the Mirror, the club have agreed a unique transfer clause that will allow Villa the opportunity to match any bids that are made for the player at the end of the season.
Mings is poised to join Villa on loan after falling out of favour at Bournemouth and that has already sparked talk of a permanent move to the club.

Championship rivals West Brom and Nottingham Forest were also interested in loan deals to sign Mings this month – which means Villa could well face plenty of competition if they look to wrap up a permanent deal in the summer.
Fortunately for the club, they have an immediate advantage as a result of this transfer clause that they have added to the original loan deal.
Villa have been busy on deadline day after loaning Scott Hogan to Sheffield United until the end of the campaign.
