Manchester United loanee Axel Tuanzebe may be given a chance in the first team for his parent club after gaffer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been encouraged to keep the player at Old Trafford.
The 21-year-old is a product of the United academy, spending the last two seasons on loan at Villa while Jose Mourinho was in charge of the club.
This season, however, despite picking up an injury in December, the centre half has impressed at the back and he has not gone unnoticed by his parent club’s coaching staff.

According to the Daily Mail, as cited by the Metro, a lot of the staff believe that Tuanzebe could be a regular starter in United’s defence and become the missing piece of the puzzle they have been looking for to fix problems at the back.
After being appointed permanent coach at Old Trafford, Solskjaer and his team have finished the season disappointingly, despite the Reds still fighting for a top-four place.
The 21-year-old could be part of the plan, as Solskjaer prepares his players for a tough pre-season after it emerged that the Norweigan is unsatisfied with his players’ fitness levels. Should he impress here and during United’s summer tour in Australia, China, and Singapore, he could well force his way into the starting line-up next season.
