Aston Villa are preparing a summer move for young Chelsea striker Martell Taylor-Crossdale, with the teenager’s current Blues contract up in the summer, Football Insider report.
Villa have enjoyed the services of Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham this season, with the 21-year-old finding the back of the net on 25 occasions in the Championship.
Abraham may return to Villa Park next season if the club secure promotion via the play-offs, however, Villa officials are reportedly making plans to sign another young talent from Stamford Bridge.

Taylor-Crossdale, who has represented England at Under-20 level, has been a prolific goalscorer throughout youth football.
The 19-year-old has scored 35 goals in 52 matches for Blues’ Under-18s side and has also scored seven times for the Under-23s.
As a result, Taylor-Crossdale is reportedly being monitored by numerous Premier League and Championship outfits.
The teenager has made a handful of appearances in the Checkatrade Trophy over recent seasons and could well prove to be a shrewd signing from Dean Smith if the club are successful in securing the forward’s services.
