Aston Villa are expected to make a bid for on-loan defender Tyrone Mings once the season reaches its conclusion.
The 26-year-old has played a key role in Villa’s exceptional form in recent months since arriving from Premier League side Bournemouth in January.
The defender made the move to Villa Park on a loan deal until the end of the season, but according to the Daily Star, cited by the Birmingham Mail, the club are expected to make a bid for the player in the summer.

Mings, who joined the Cherries from Ipswich Town back in 2015 for £8m, has enjoyed a good run of form under Dean Smith, who is assisted by former England defender John Terry.
Mings’ time at the Vitality Stadium has been frustrating, with the defender suffering serious knee injuries, however, the towering centre-back finally looks to be back to his best.
Where Villa will be playing their football next season could play a key role in their hopes of signing Mings, and a potential permanent deal could gather pace if the club are successful in the play-offs this month.
