Aston Villa striker Kelsey Mooney has reportedly been told to find another club after the player’s future at Villa was confirmed.
The 20-year-old hasn’t lived up to the coaching staff’s expectations after the player spent time playing for both Villa’s youth side in the Premier League 2 and out on loan to League Two side Cheltenham Town.
Despite impressing when playing for Villa early in the season, scoring six goals in eight matches for the U23 side, the Englishman was then sent out on loan to Cheltenham to boost his experience.

The loan move was less than spectacular in which Mooney only managed score one goal in only three starts during his time at Whaddon Road.
Mooney struggled to get off the mark in the fourth tier of English football.
And according to Football Insider, the youngster has been told to find a new club by Villa as he won’t be in any future plans under Dean Smith whether they earn promotion to the Premier League or not.
Smith’s side find themselves in the Championship play-off final against Derby County after defeating West Brom in a penalty shootout in their semi-final clash.

Smith will be in search of a new striker should they fail to sign Tammy Abraham on a permanent basis, with the 21-year-old expected to return to his parent club Chelsea.
The West London club are also in search of a reliable forward with a transfer ban threatening the club.
