Aston Villa winger Anwar El Ghazi is hoping to make his loan move permanent over the summer after helping the club back to the Premier League.
The wide man opened the scoring at Wembley Stadium on Monday just before half time as Dean Smith’s side defeated Frank Lampard’s Derby County.

John McGinn doubled Villa’s advantage on the hour mark, before a late effort from Martyn Waghorn proved to be a consolation for the Rams.
Attentions have already turned to Villa’s transfer plans this summer and potentially keeping the likes of loan stars El Ghazi, Tyrone Mings and Tammy Abraham.
El Ghazi arrived from French outfit Lille last summer on a season-long loan and has been one of Villa’s standout performers across the campaign.
The 24-year-old made 36 appearances in all competitions, scoring on six occasions.
And talking to the media, cited by Express and Star, an emotional El Ghazi admitted he is hoping to remain at Villa Park ahead of the upcoming season.
I have really enjoyed it here and I love the club and the fans.
I have to talk with my agent now. This club is amazing and I will be very happy if I can stay here.
But we have to figure it out first with Lille and I hope everything goes well so that I can stay here.
The win for Villa was reportedly worth £170m for the club, so a possible transfer fee may not be a problem for El Ghazi to remain at Villa Park over the summer.
