According to reports from TeamTalk, cited by Sportslens, Brighton are set to make a bid for Aston Villa target James Tavernier.
The Rangers full-back looks set to have a lot of interest in him this summer following an amazing campaign in Scotland where the 27-year-old scored 17 times and provided 20 assists under Steven Gerrard.

Following promotion to the Premier League, Dean Smith is keen on adding strength to his side and bolstering the right side of the defence following the release of Alan Hutton.
However, Rangers will be keen to keep hold of the full back themselves after an incredible season under Gerrard, as they look to close the gap between them and Scottish champions Celtic next season.
Following Graham Potter’s recent appointment to Brighton from Swansea, he will be looking at drafting in his own players.
Whoever manages to sign the full-back will no doubt have an excellent option for the upcoming Premier League season.
