After Kortney Hause helped Aston Villa secure promotion through the play-offs, reports on the Express and Star claim that Villa have until Thursday to sign the defender from Wolves permanently.
As per the agreement of the original loan deal, Villa have the option to sign him for £3 million, but time is running out for Dean Smith’s side to make their move.
Since Nuno Espirito Santo took over at Wolves, Hause struggled to nail down a place at Molineux.
Yet after being on loan with Villa since January, he played almost every match for the club until he suffered a hip injury which saw him miss numerous games before returning for the play-off final against Frank Lampard’s Derby County.
Hause was a key player for Smith during the second half of the season, along with Tyrone Mings, he has been a very strong character in defence and helped Aston Villa’s final push which landed them a place in the play-offs.
