Aston Villa are set to sign Wolves defender Kortney Hause after triggering the option to sign him permanently.
According to Telegraph journalist John Percy, Villa have decided to tie him down to a permanent switch following his loan spell at the club.

Hause is poised to become Villa’s second signing of the week, after the club announced the arrival of Jota from Birmingham on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The report claims that Villa are paying £3m to land Hause, who ended the season playing second fiddle to Tyrone Mings and Axel Tuanzebe – who were the first choice centre-backs.
However, with Mings and Tuanzebe also both returning to their parent clubs, Villa are in need of defenders and Hause fits the bill – having impressed in the few appearances he did make for Dean Smith’s side.
