Aston Villa have received a transfer boost, with Liverpool having confirmed that they have no interest in Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge.
The Bluebirds ‘keeper has been attracting attention this summer following the clubs relegation from the Premier League, and the Villans are keen on the 29-year old.
Reports earlier this week had suggested that the Reds were keen on the Philippines international and had made an initial enquiry over his availability.

It is expected that Etheridge will leave the South Wales club this summer, and after the Liverpool Echo confirmed that the Reds aren’t keen on the former Walsall man, Villa will surely be buoyed that their chances have improved.
Villa have already had an £8million offer rejected, while West Ham and Fulham are also reportedly monitoring the situation.
