Blackburn Rovers boss Tony Mowbray is confident star midfielder Bradley Dack will turn down a move to either Aston Villa or Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
Dean Smith is thought to be a big admirer of the player, with Villa linked with a move for the attacking midfielder following their promotion to the Premier League.
Along with Villa, fellow Premier League side Brighton are also monitoring the 25-year-old ahead of a possible move, with former Swansea City boss Graham Potter taking over from Chris Hughton.

Rovers haven’t received any bids for the player who has excelled at Ewood Park over the past 24 months, with Dack scoring 37 times in all competitions in the past two seasons.
Talking to Sky Sports, cited by Lancashire Live, Mowbray admitted he was confident Dack won’t be leaving Lancashire this summer.
I’m very confident he won’t move on this summer.
He’s had his first season in the Championship and he’s scored 15 goals. Everybody knew he could do it in League One and he was fantastic for us in League One.
His first challenge was in the Championship last season and my beliefs, and I’ve spoken to Bradley, are that he should do another year with us and see how close we can get.
Smith is expecting to bolster his options in multiple areas this summer, with Anwar El Ghazi making his loan move permanent from Lille on Monday.
