El Ghazi puts pen to paper on a four-year deal at the club and will now be looking to step up in the Premier League.
Six goals in 37 appearances for Villa last season helped them on their way to the play-off final at Wembley, where it was El Ghazi himself who scored the opening goal against Frank Lampard’s Derby County.
The player had been expected to join up Villa on a permanent basis this summer, but it had been suggested that other Premier League clubs were also interested.
