Out of favour Aston Villa striker Scott Hogan is the subject of interest from Bristol City, according to a report on Birmingham Live.
Citing a story from the Mirror, the report claims that the Robins would be interested in signing the 27-year-old, who played just 68 minutes of Championship football for the Villains last season.
With his game time heavily limited, the Republic of Ireland international joined Sheffield United on a six-month loan in January but made only eight appearances for the Blades, scoring two goals.

Hogan’s first team opportunities with Villa aren’t likely to get any better now the club have been promoted to the Premier League, meaning the former Brentford forward is likely to be on the move this summer.
Bristol City, who tried to sign Hogan in January, but saw him move to South Yorkshire instead, is one possible destination after it was revealed Lee Johnson is still hopeful of taking him to Ashton Gate.
Hogan has been made aware that he needs to be playing regularly in order to keep his place in Mick McCarthy’s Republic of Ireland squad, so a move to Bristol where he can do that may be appealing to him.
